Heat oil in a pressure cooker over medium heat. Sauté finely chopped onion and garlic until translucent and aromatic.
Add beef fillet, stirring until it starts to brown. Add cumin, paprika, and thyme, stir to combine.
Pour in tomato sauce, incorporating it thoroughly. Optional: add tomato paste for a deeper flavor.
Cover the beef with enough water and add a sweet long pepper to infuse flavors during cooking.
Seal the pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes to tenderize the beef.
In a separate pan, fry cubed potatoes and sliced carrots until lightly browned, keeping them partially cooked.
Once the pressure cooker finishes, release pressure and add partially cooked vegetables to the stew.
Simmer for 5 minutes, letting the flavors meld together.
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and black pepper.
Serve the Tas Kebabi over Turkish rice for a flavorsome meal.
Add 1 teaspoon chili powder or 2 chili pepper if you prefer spicy.
Add more water if the stew seems dry or little
