Turkish fries are a popular street food in Turkey consisting of thick-cut potatoes that are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and typically seasoned with different spices and served with dipping sauces.

3 Medium Potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges or long stripe 1 Teaspoon Paprika 1 Teaspoon Thyme 1 Teaspoon Cumin Salt for Taste Vegetable Oil for Frying Flour for coating
Cleaned the potatoes with water before peeling the skin
Sliced the potatoes into thick stripe or wedges.
Pour cold water and then leave it for 30 minutes to help remove the excess starch
After 30 minutes, remove the water and dry it paper towel.
Pour vegetable oil in the frying pan. Coat the potatoes with flour before putting in the frying pan. Make sure the oil is hot first.
Fry the potatoes till it turns a golden brown or become crispy
Once the fries is cooked, transfer into the plate with paper towel below to remove the excess oil.
Transfer the fries into the bowl and seasoned it with cumin, paprika, thyme and salt. Mix it gently
Served with with yogurt garlic sauce or ketchup-mayo sauce. Enjoy!
Make sure the oil is hot before placing the potatoes in the frying pan.
Coating the potatoes with flour will help make the fries crispy.
